Keylite strengthens the Irish market with new appointment
Irish-owned Keylite Roof Windows (Keylite) has appointed Rob Lee as its new Sales Director for Ireland and Northern Ireland, to help increase sales for Irish merchants and contractors.
With his sights set firmly on making Keylite the number one roof window supplier of choice across Ireland, Rob is a firm advocate for the brand, its innovative products and its range of USPs.
Having worked in the construction sector for nearly two decades, Rob recognises the importance of genuinely believing in the products you’re selling, commenting: “I’ve got six Keylite roof windows in my home, so I knew the quality and capability of the products before I even joined the business.
“In my first meeting for the role, I got a really good feel for the business – the family feel, the commitment to innovation, the genuine interest in developing sales in Ireland, and the support that I would receive.
“I firmly believe that it’s people that make a sale. As a sales team, we need to have real confidence in what we’re selling and believe it’s the best product on the market – and that’s exactly how we feel at Keylite. It’s this motivation and belief within the team that really sets us apart. Our products are ahead of the game in so many aspects, our thermal collar and built-in brackets, for example, and our competition is trying to catch up.”
Everyone knows that Keylite offers and manufactures roof windows, but what many don’t know is that the brand also specialises in an extensive range of products, including loft ladders, lanterns, flat glass rooflights and solar enabled roof windows.
For a flood of atrium-style daylighting, Keylite’s Roof Lantern comes with a ten-year guarantee, solar heat reflection and is available in a range of sizes, pitches, colours and combinations.
While the Keylite Flat Glass Rooflight provides a contemporary alternative to polycarbonate products, and is available in fixed shut, manual and electrical opening options, with a toughened outer pane for maximum durability.
For windows installed beyond reach, many installers are finding Keylite’s Electric Roof Windows are a popular choice among homeowners. Controlled with a handheld remote or wall mounted switch, these roof windows can be adapted to suit any environment and, if the Premium Electric Kit option is chosen, the roof window(s) will even close automatically when it rains.
On top of this, Keylite’s Electric Roof Windows can be solar powered – reducing energy costs, carbon footprint and ideal for where a connection to mains electric is not available.
Because every Keylite Roof Window has added protection against thermal bridging and heat loss with the Integrated Expanding Thermal Collar included as standard, new product replacements are also more energy efficient – encouraging even existing customers to update their roof windows.
Rob continues: “Our flick-fit brackets, expanding thermal collar and streamlined fit, along with many other unique features, all come as standard in so many of our products – making us a firm favourite for installers by ensuring installation is as quick and easy as possible.
“We want to remind merchants and installers alike just how expansive Keylite’s product range is so that they’re ready for any customer request during another busy year of home improvements.”
Jim Blanthorne, Managing Director at Keylite, concludes: “We’re delighted to have someone of Rob’s calibre join Keylite to lead our sales activity in Ireland – a perfect example of the significant investment we’ve made in our products and people to support our home markets. Rob has made an immediate positive impact, strengthening customer relationships and developing his team to successfully grow Irish sales. As always, thanks to our valued customers for their support.”
