Can a Top Hung Window operate with an electric kit or a smoke ventilation kit?

The Electric and Smoke Ventilation kits work as follows:

• Electric Kit: We can fit an electric kit to a top hung window, but generally this is not advisable. The advised option is to fit them to a centre pivot roof window were everything would be out of sight.
• Smoke Vent Kit (SVK): A Top Hung window does not meet regulations with regards to providing the required ventilation levels for smoke ventilation.
