Why would I choose a Keylite Roof Window instead of a traditional solid roofed dormer window?

Compared with a dormer window (regarding the corresponding daylight area), Keylite Roof Windows provide significantly more natural light. A roof window installed in a roof pitch of 45° provides up to 40% more light than a traditional dormer.

The roof window allows unobstructed daylight as opposed to the dormer, where the dormer construction blocks some of the daylight from entering the room.
