Keylite raises £11,000 for local children’s charities
Last year, Keylite Roof Windows challenged Northern Irish businesses and communities to ‘Kick it with Keylite’ in the name of raising money for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin.
The initiative challenged participants to kick, throw, putt or bat a ball through a Keylite roof window, with businesses, schools and sports clubs across NI getting involved by hosting Kick it with Keylite fun days.
The challenge was extremely well received, raising much-needed funds for both Northern Ireland children’s charities.
Clare McGimpsey, Partnership Programme Manager at Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice said: “Being the only hospice for children in Northern Ireland, we care for children of all ages, from babies to teenagers who have life-limiting and life-threatening conditions or who need our support at the end of their lives”
“We are very grateful to Keylite for launching its fantastic ‘Kick it with Keylite’ campaign. This fundraising effort will help us to continue to provide vital care services for children, as well as allowing families to rest and enjoy the time they have together.”
Liam Redmond, Corporate Manager at Children’s Health Foundation Crumlin added: “We are incredibly grateful for Kick it with Keylite. The campaign, which raised over £6,000 for us, will support the funding of life-saving equipment, medical research, and patient and family services across CHI at Temple Street. “Keylite’s impact will be felt for years to come by the sick children who will cross our doors and be treated by services Keylite has supported. We couldn’t be more thankful.”
